Louise C. Welch, 92, of Franklin, passed away, Tuesday, August 7, 2012.
Born in Floyd Co, IA, she was the daughter of the late A. Howard Case and Calla E. Stone Case. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Paul Welch, who died on February 7, 2011; a brother, Eugene Case and two sisters, Margaret Ann Case and Mary Schoenfeld. Louise was a former member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a member of Burningtown Baptist Church and was active in a local ladies prayer group. Louise was considered her family's prayer warrior.
She is survived by two children, Dency Dailey and husband Tim of Franklin, Rev. Dr. Patrick Paul Welch and wife Gail of Hendersonville; step-son, Thomas Ray Welch and wife Shirley of Franklin and NC; twelve grandchildren;twenty-one great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 11th, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Pons and Rev. Randy Drinnon will officiate. Burial will be in Welch Cemetery.
