Obituary
Louise P. Parker, 97, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011.
Born in Lyman, Washington, she was the daughter of the late Grady Peek and Myrtle Brendle Welch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ormond Mitchell who died in 1959, second husband, Louis Parker who died in 1966; sister, Gladys Harry who died in 2009 and a brother, DuBoice Welch who died in 2011. Louise was a buyer for Riches Department Store for many years. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
She is survived by devoted cousin Jane Brendell of Franklin, who was married to the late Gilbert Brendell ;two sisters, Jessie Southard and Carol Angel both of Franklin; brother, Ray Welch of Franklin; several nieces, nephews and extended family also survive.
Graveside Service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, at the Cheatham Hill Memorial, Marietta, GA. Rev. Benny Bagwell and Dr. Walter Sandell will officiate.
Memorial donations can be made to Victory Baptist Church, 278 Victory Church Road, Sylva, NC 28779.
