Obituary
Louise Farmer Beets, 80, of Franklin, NC, passed away Monday, October 2, 2006.
Born in Clinton, TN, she was the daughter of the late Fletcher Farmer and Sara Wright Farmer, and was also preceded in death by a brother, Nelson Farmer. She was a quality assurance auditor for Martin Marietta; and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clinton, TN.
She is survived by a daughter, Jeannie Garrett and husband, James of Franklin; four brothers, Roy Farmer of New Market, AL, Jimmy and John Farmer, both of Clinton, TN, and Gene Farmer of Murphy, NC; grandson, Michael Garrett and wife, Marie of New Bern, NC; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 5, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Lloyd Fish will officiate. Burial will be in the Cowee Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m., one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to MCH, PO Box 698, Franklin, NC 28744 or Cowee Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, C/O of Kay Rickman, 240 Golfview Drive, Franklin, NC 28734.
