Lois Ledford Guest, 85, of Franklin passed away Friday, June 5, 2009. Born in Clay County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Ledford and Ora Mae Hooper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Ernest Guest, who passed away May 23, 2009. She was an active member at Longview Baptist Church; Ruth Sunday School Class and enjoyed listening to Gospel Music. She is survived by two sons, Bobby Guest and Terry Guest both of Franklin; brother, Raymond Ledford of Webster and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 8, at Longview Baptist Church. Rev. Nick Smith and Rev. Judson Hall will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Sunday, June 7, at Macon Funeral Home where the body will remain until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Members of the Ruth Sunday School Class will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Memorial donations may be made to Longview Baptist Church, c/o Blanche Johnson. Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
