Lois Lee Bowser, 88, of Franklin, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.

Born in Monroe, NC, she was the daughter of the late Paul Cooke and Bertie McCraney Cooke. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Klopfer; her second husband, James Arthur Bowser; son, Bruce Klopfer; step-daughter, Carol Ann Bowser; one brother, Jack; three step-brothers, Robert and Ronald Cooke and Richard Ward. Lois was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two children, Deborah "Debbie" Greb of Franklin and Charles "Chuck" Klopfer of Franklin; two step-sons, Eddie Bowser of Long Island, NY and Jimmy Bowser of North Carolina; one step-daughter, Janet Sirel of NC; eight grandchildren and one great grandson, Blaze McCarthy.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 3rd in Woodlawn Cemetery.
