Lois Clark Anders, 91, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014.
She was the daughter of the late, Joseph L. Clarke and Hattie Taylor Clarke. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven sisters, Ellas, Dorothy, Martha, Bertie, Viola, Inez and Betty and one brother, Wiley. She was a member of Cullasaja Assembly of God. She was a creative and talented artist and seamstress and gardener. Lois was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Charles Anders; daughter, Diane Godfrey of Winston Salem, NC; one grandson, Derek Godfrey and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, November 28, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Dearrell Sanders, Doyle Clark, Gary Clark, Richard Byland, Michael Bryson and Michael Wiggins.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
