Obituary
Linda Rice, 76, of Franklin passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Henry Sanders and Faye Dowde Sanders. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph C. Rice and son, Steve Rice. Linda attended Clarks Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed going to Harrah's Casino and playing bingo with her friends.
She is survived by her children, Phillip Rice (Sandy) of San Diego, CA and Joan Welch (Jeff) of Franklin; and five grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 9, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Jamie Passmore will officiate.
