Linda Moore Moss, 72, of Cullowhee, NC, passed away Monday, February 1, 2016.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Charlie Moore and Mildred Bryson Moore. She is preceded by her husband, Arlie Moss. Linda loved to cook, play the piano, paint, crochet and read. She inspired many young people to play the piano. Linda was a member of Pine Creek Baptist Church, former Sunday School teacher and pianist. She was a member of the Pine Creek Community Club where she has held several offices.

She is survived by her daughter, Arlene Rice (Steven) of Sylva; a sister, Karen Moore Ramsey Ward (David); a niece, Rosa Marie Belcher (Ryan) of Asheville; one nephew, Michael Ramsey, Jr. (Ashley) of Jacksonville, FL; five great nieces and nephews, Lexie Belcher, Braden Belcher, Natalia Belcher, Cameron Ramsey and Anastasia Ramsey.

Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, February 6 at Pine Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Aaron Langston, Rev. Everrett Wilson and Rev. Clemmy Queen will officiate.

Family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m., Saturday at the church.
