Obituary
Linda Moody, 67, of Otto, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014.
Born in Asheville, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley Monteith and Mary Barnett Monteith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Monteith. Linda was a part of the law enforcement family in WNC since 1978, where she made an effort to be supportive of officers and their families.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Charles Moody; son, Chris Moody and wife Margie of Harrisburg, NC; grandson, Mason Moody; brother, Gary Monteith of Pisgah Forest, NC and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 7th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Greg Rogers will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 120 Executive Park Bldg. 1, Asheville, NC 28801.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
