Obituary
Ligia Maria Wooten, 66, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018.
Born in San Jose, Costa Rica, she was the daughter of Rosalina Hidalgo of Costa Rica and the late Francisco Ruiz. Ligia worked at Duvall Ford; attended First Alliance Church; and enjoyed cooking.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 43 years, James Thomas Wooten; three sons, Thomas Wooten (Sheena) living in Valdosta, GA, Joseph Wooten (Sylvana) living in Germany and Paul Wooten (Hazel) of Franklin; three brothers, Francisco Ruiz, Roberto Ruiz and Jose Ruiz all of Costa Rica; one sister, Hilda Ruiz of Costa Rica; four grandchildren, Iliana, Michael, Isabella and Gabriella and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon, Monday, April 9th at First Alliance Church. Rev. Scott Eichelberger will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, 600 Parkway North, Newnan, GA 30265.
