Lester A. Eastland Jr, 78 of Franklin passed away Monday April 7, 2008.

A native of Oak Park Illinois, he was the son of the late Lester Albin Eastland Sr. and Adelle Filler Eastland. He was a US Army Veteran. Lester retired from Pelican Plastic as plant manager. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

He is survived by his wife of twenty six years Audrey Eastland; two step-daughters Marcia Schirdewahn of Downer Grove, Ill. and Sandra Thurmon of Jessup, GA; five step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren. One brother Lowell Eastland and his wife RoseAnn Eastland of Darien Connecticut and two nieces and two nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 3 pm Thursday April 10, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Elder Duane Maracle will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm prior to the service.
