Homer "Leroy" McCall, 73, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017.

Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late James Charlie McCall and Effie Ellen McCall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Jessie Mae Browning, Leona Ray and Estelle Jenkins and a brother, James Arthur McCall. Leroy worked in construction, was a member of Goldmine Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, camping and boating.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Holbrooks McCall; two children, Travis McCall (Terena) and Tabitha McCall both of Franklin; brother, Lloyd McCall of Franklin; four sisters, Martha Crescenzi, Mary Owens, Frances Zachary and Viola Jenkins all of Franklin; three grandchildren, Erica McCall, Angelina McCall and Taylor Lee; two great grandchildren, Oliver Millsaps and Charlie Millsaps and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 27, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Rusty Wolfrey will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Moriah cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Dickie McCall, Taylor Lee, Angelina McCall, Randy McCall, Tony Ray and Kyler Fitch.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Georgia Lynn Giles, Daniel Dowdy and Ellard Bolick.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
