Leroy Frank Jackson, Jr., 80, of Franklin, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012.

Born in Henderson County, he was the son of the late Leroy Frank Jackson, Sr. and Reece Bowden Jackson. Frank was a U.S. Air Force veteran, Air Traffic Controller, worked many years at Lowe's, was a member of Rockdale Baptist Church and loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by three children, Leroy Frank Jackson, III and wife Karen of Clovis, CA, Vincent "Paul" Jackson of Atlanta and Elizabeth Jackson Bustamante and husband Louis of Montgomery, AL and two grandchildren, Louis Bustamante, Jr. and Xena Jackson.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 29, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Ray Fox will officiate. Burial will be in the Rush Cemetery with military rites conducted by the VFW Post 7339 and the American Legion Post 108.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Monday, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Louis Bustamante, Jr., Charles Gibson, Radford Guffey, Brandon Wilson, Dusty Snider and Bill Fox. Honorary Pallbearers will be deacons of Rockdale Baptist Church.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
