Obituary

Leo Anthony Buser, 78, of Franklin, NC, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010.

Born in Baileyville, KS, he was the son of the late Ben Buser and Rose Rillinger Buser. In Addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters. Leo was a US Army veteran and served with the 82nd Airborne Division during the Korean War. He worked as a mechanic for Wisconsin Electric Power for 40 years; was an avid golfer; former President of Mill Creek Golf Association; member of the American Legion and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty Buser; four sons, Anthony Charles Buser and wife, Laura, Stewart Allen Buser and wife, Cindy, Neal James Buser and wife, Caroline and Donald Francis Buser and wife, Karen all of Wisconsin; ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 20 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Vic Greene will officiate. Military Rites will be conducted by the VFW Post 7339 and the American Legion Post 108.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
