Lee Roy Davis, 81, of Franklin, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019.

A native of Macon County, Mr. Davis was the son of the late Virgil and Jossie Dowell Davis. Lee Roy retired from Chicago Rawhide, where he worked as a trimmer. He was a member of the Franklin Church of God. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Richard Huskey and 2 brothers, Troy Davis and Deboyce Davis. He would often enjoy long scenic drives and loved to fish.

Mr. Davis is survived by a son, Roy Davis (Chary) of Mississippi; three daughters, Angela Ledford of Franklin, NC, Karen Davis of Gastonia, NC and Tammy Davis of Dallas , NC; one sister, Clara Ball (Gene) of Franklin, NC; 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be at 2 pm, Wednesday, October 30th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Eugene Moore and Rev. Rick Swafford will officiate. Burial will be in the Dean Dowell Cemetery in Franklin.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be the grandsons.
