Obituary
Laura May Ogden , 86 , of Franklin passed away Thursday, June 28th, 2018 .
Born in Detroit, Michigan , she was preceded in death by her parents James Aude and Laura Jarvis Tindle and step father, Oscar Tindale. In addition to her parents, Mrs Ogden was preceded in death by her husband William Ogden; four sisters, Rita Jean McGhee, Donna Ogden, Nancy Varney and Linda Costello; three brothers, Bob Tindle. Bernard Aude and Jim Aude. Laura was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church, and active in the LWML and the prayer chain. Laura taught children's bible school, enjoyed gardening and various forms of art including painting, card making and sewing.
She is survived by three daughters, Laura Slagle (John), Cynthia Hacker, Carol Reynolds (Albert) of Franklin, NC; two sons, Steven Seys and Alan Seys of Franklin, NC; two sisters, Lorraine Stroh and Ida Barnes both of Michigan; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; thirty-two nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Resurrection Lutheran Church. Pastor Patrick O'Neal will officate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Four Seasons Hospice House Foundation, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
