Laura McCauley, 38, of Franklin, NC, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010.

Born in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Robert Lee McCauley and the late Betty Vossberg McCauley, who passed away November 13, 2009. Laura was a loving mother and a kind, generous friend to all who knew her.

In addition to her father, Robert Lee McCauley of Franklin, she is survived by her son, Cole McCauley; one brother, Carl Lee McCauley and wife Angie of Roswell, GA; two sisters, Lynne Wiesecke and husband Sascha of Charlotte, NC and Johanna "Jody" Ervin and husband Ryan of Buford, GA; grandmother, Elizabeth Vossberg; companion Mark Stanfield and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Franklin, NC. Rev. Sam Pope and Rev. Vic Greene will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, at Macon Funeral Home, Franklin, NC.
