Kevin Lawrence Halpin, 28, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2007.

Born in Flushing Queens, New York, he was the beloved son of Dorothy Ann Halpin and the late Robert James Halpin. He worked at the Log Cabin in Highlands, NC and attended St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Kevin is survived by his beloved wife, Naomi Danielle Halpin; his two children, Rebecca Halpin and Kevin Halpin, Jr. both of the home; sisters and brothers, Denise Burkart of Dell City, VA, Dariel Hirsch of Orlando, FL, Shannon Halpin of Hampton, GA, Richard Hellerer of White Stone, NY, James Carman of Raleigh, NC and Robert Halpin of Orlando, FL; mother, Dorothy Ann Halpin; grandmother, Dorothy Cicchetti of Raleigh, NC; many nieces and nephews and four aunts and uncles.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Father Matthew Kauth will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

A wake will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

The family will serve as Pallbearers.
