Kenneth Tillman Cruse Sr., 88, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2010.
Born in Macon Co., he was the son of the lat Edward G. Cruse and Ida Dills Cruse. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers. Kenneth was a Master Sergeant and retired US Army Veteran. He served during WWII, Vietnam War and Korean Conflict. He worked for Washington University Medical Center for 22 years as an Electronics Technician. Kenneth was a lifetime member of the American Legion in Franklin and member of the VFW in Bryson City.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Genevieve Hodgin Cruse; two sons, Kenneth T. Cruse Jr. of Franklin and Ronald Johnson; one step-son, Dalton G. Johnson of Missoula, MT; one granddaughter, two great grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Andy Cloer will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to one's favorite charity.
