Kenneth Henderson, 62, of Cullowhee, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014.
Born in Clayton, GA, he was the son of Ella Mae Mathis Moss and the late Carmon Henderson. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother, Ralph Henderson. Kenneth owned and operated his own wrecker and gravel service. He was a member of Cashiers-Glenville Fire Department, The Western Carolina Truck Club (WNC Chapter of ATHS) and Yellow Mountain Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-father, Leighton Moss; son, Larry Henderson, three step-children and two nieces.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 17th at Pine Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Everette Wilson and Rev. Carl Stepp will officiate. Burial will be in the Pine Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, May 16th at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be John Brown, Chip Hall, Robbie Pressley, Jim Stewart, James Burgess, Jeff Stewart, Robbie Potts, Clay Bryson, Tom Crawford and Kenny Rice. Mike Sutton, Jim Childers, Squirrel Bryson, Curtis Alice, Bryan Greg, Leland Cooper, Bob Anders, George Hooper, Randy Mort and Kenny Broom will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
