Kenneth L. Simmons and Frances H. Simmons, 71, of Highlands, both passed away Thursday, February 2, 2012.
Kenneth was born in Steubenville, OH and was the son of the late Floyd Simmons. He was a Florida National Guard veteran. He worked as a commercial contractor and built hospitals and bridges. He was of the Catholic faith. Frances was born in New Hampshire and was the daughter of the late Benjamin Fortuna and Mary Lucy Fortuna. She was a parts inspector and worked for Honeywell. She was of the Catholic faith.
They are survived by daughters, Debra Ann Harper and husband Keith of Highlands, Teri Simmons of Hazleton, PA and Dawn Hoover and husband, Gary of Phenix City, AL; Five grandchildren, Tiffanie McMahon, Tabatha Harper, Gary J Hoover III, Tyler Kenneth Hoover and Tev Simmons and great granddaughter, Calie McMahon.
No Services have been planned at this time.
