Katherine Anderson, 95, of Franklin passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late George Nichols and Mary Carpenter Nichols. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Cleveland Anderson; son, Cleveland Anderson; sister, Stella Nichols; and brother, Vernon Nichols. Katherine attended Cartoogechaye Church of God and was a member of Maidens Chapel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children, Grover Lee Anderson of Franklin, Georgia Mae Jones of Burlington, WA, Shirley Baron of Lake Stevens, WA, Elizabeth "Libby" Mitchell of Lyman Hamilton, WA, Clara Jean Myers of Franklin and Brenda Elaine Anderson of Burlington, WA; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Dryman and Rev. Clay Meyers will officiate. Burial will be in the Maidens Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
