Obituary
Karen Morgan Dalrymple, 58, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Harold Morgan and Juanita Sanders Morgan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Morgan. Karen loved her grandchildren, her horses, feeding wildlife, gardening and flowers. She was a CNA and was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Russell Dalrymple; son, Adam Johnson (Briana) of Waynesville; daughter, Jennifer Harris (Scott) of Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Rita Byrd of Franklin; brother, Gary Morgan (Mary) of Clyde; three grandchildren, Brea Harris, Easton Harris and Benjamin Johnson; one niece and six nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 pm, Friday, March 22nd at Maidens Chapel United Methodist Church. Rev. Robert Dryman will officiate. The family will have a time of gathering following the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Macon Tracs, PO Box 101, Otto, NC 28763.
