Justin Crippen, 17, of Otto, NC, passed away Friday, February 22, 2013.
Born in Gilroy, CA, he was the son of James Crippen and Elizabeth "Beth" Rogers Crippen. Justin was a graduate of Union Academy. He was an avid soccer fan, was very artistic and enjoyed writing poetry.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Heather Bacon of Cleveland, GA; his unborn daughter, Arryana Justine; seven brothers, Jason Crippen, Gabriel Crippen, Daniel Crippen, Nolan Rogers, Nick Rogers, Tyler Rogers and Michael Crippen; his grandmother, Deanna Reeder of Asheville; numerous aunts, uncles and extended family members

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 3rd, at Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Alan Waters will officiate. A reception will follow.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made out to the Justin M. Crippen Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank to help with unexpected expenses.
