Obituary
June Lambert Cochran, 82, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2011.
Born in Wauchula, FL, she was the daughter of the late Porter Lambert and Mary Esther Odom Lambert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillian Shackelford and Joyce Lynn and a brother, Harold Lambert. June volunteered for CareNet and hospice; was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and was a member of Cowee Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughter, Valli Prebor of Franklin; son, Karl Prebor of Eureka, CA; two brothers, Porter Lambert of Franklin and Ronald Lambert of Wachula, FL; granddaughter, Sandy Prebor Strouse of Seaford, VA; two great grandsons and one great granddaughter.
Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, December 26 at Cowee Baptist Church. Rev. David Powell will officiate.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
