Obituary

Our Angel Julie Ann Hardegree Jackson, 56, of Otto, NC, fell asleep on Saturday, November 5, 2011 and went to heaven to be with the Lord.

Born in Miami, FL, she was the daughter of Ron Hardegree and the late Mary Lou Bennett Hardegree. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cynthia and Edward Hardegree and Cecil and Hazel Bennett, brother, Daniel Hardegree and grandson, Draxtyn Ortiz. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Julie loved animals, crafts, music and the outdoors. Her grandchildren, family, friends and dog Tues-D were very important to her. She will truly be missed by many. We love you Mom/Grandma.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her two sons, Dylan Ortiz and fiancée Nicole Rogers and Jason Jackson and wife Amy Rouse Jackson; sisters, Rhonda Freeman and husband Steve, Renee Maxwell and husband Frank, Gail Anderson and husband Gregory; brothers, Michael Hardegree and wife Pam, Lee Hardegree, Christopher Hardegree and wife Dawn; stepmother Geraldine Hardegree and four grandchildren, Destiny, Bailey, Anthony and Jullie.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 12, at Coweeta Baptist Church. Rev. Davis Hooper will officiate.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Coweeta Baptist Church.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
