Judy Howell, 61, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013, surrounded by her friends.

Born in Jackson Co, she was the daughter of the late Horace Howell and Mary Ann Battle Howell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty H. Cole and brother, David Howell. Judy was a long time resident of MCH. She loved going to summer camps and shopping. Judy had a joyful soul and enjoyed spending time with others. She attended First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sister, Jean Liberatore of Whittier, NC and nieces and nephews, Carla, Sandra, Kenny, Jimmy and Teresa.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 19th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Dr. Robert Brown will officiate.

The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service at the funeral home.
