Juanita Deen Kama, 80, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2007.
Born in Oklahoma City, OK, she was the daughter of the late George M. and Beulah Rouse Deen. She is also preceded in death by a son, Otis Dale Wright. Mrs. Kama was a charter member of Respect, which is now known as R.E.A.C.H., a Brownie Leader and Cub Scout Den Mother, and she also loved to read.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Kama; one son, Jeffrey Scott Kama, Sr., of Franklin; one daughter, Luana Kim Kama Queen of Franklin; three brothers, Wendell Marshall Deen and Donald Deen both of Texas, and Kenneth Deen of Oklahoma; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 30, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Benny Hurst will officiate.
