Joyce Anne McMahan, 60, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of Leona Cabe McMahan and the late James Adam McMahan. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Monica Houston; brother, Ray Allen McMahan and two sisters, Judy Nations and Faye Ellen Conner. Joyce was a purchasing agent for Angel Medical Center; attended Black Mountain Baptist Church; and enjoyed gardening, yard work and crocheting.
In addition to her mother, Leona Cabe McMahan of Sylva, she is survived by her companion, David Phillips; daughter, Kimberley Stanley (Scottie) of Franklin; son, Christopher Houston of Franklin; step daughter, Lindsey Phillips of SC; three sisters, Linda Phillips, Wanda Farley and Tammy Jones all of Sylva; brother, Robert McMahan of Kingsport, TN; six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 3, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves and Rev. Cale Stancil will officiate. Burial will be in the Longview Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Noah Stanley, Dorian Provencher, Jonah Stanley, Keith Nations, Jeremy Laws and Steve Farley.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Ronnie Hedden, Randy Hedden, Davie Conner and Jason McMahan.
