Obituary
Joyce Stamey Holbrook, 80, of Franklin passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Robert Stamey and Florence Bates Stamey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dennis Holbrook and grandson, Adam Green. Joyce enjoyed woodworking.
She is survived by her children, Tonda Holbrook (Leon) of Franklin, Tony Holbrook (Patrick) of MA, Phyllis Dodd (Darrell) of Franklin, and Pat Green (Rick) of Franklin; brother, Bud Stamey; sisters, Margaret Ledford, Glenda Robinson, Doris Stamey, Lois Stamey, Wanda Stamey, and Cathy Stamey; six grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm, Monday, June 3 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Carl Carpenter and Rev. Darrell Dodd will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
