Jack W. Luttrell, 92, of Franklin passed away Monday, June 27, 2005.
A native of Stapleton, Alabama, he was the son of the late Dale Luttrell and Nora Moore Luttrell. He retired from the Indiana-Kentucky Electric Corporation 1977 as an electrical engineer. He attended the following schools: Ohio University, College of Steubenville, Ohio, and Indiana University. In addition he completed four correspondence courses in Management Training (Michigan), and a two year course in electrical and mechanical Blueprinting. Mr. Luttrell was president of the following organizations, classes and clubs: Canton Ohio Industrial Club, Clifty Creek Gold Association, Forest Lakes Home Owners Association, and Junior Senior High School classes. He was an active member of the Chamber of Commerce; also did volunteer work; was active in the Church of Christ as a part time preacher, Bible teacher, song leader, and missionary. He attended Franklin Church of Christ West End.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Elsie Myers Luttrell; three children, Mark Douglas Luttrell of St. Charles, MO; Brenda Rutherford of Sugar Hill, GA; and Craig Wesley Luttrell of Loganville, GA; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 29 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Marcus Sparks and John Gurtler will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Mark Davis, Brian Davis, Kevin Rutherford, Chad Luttrell, Todd Collins, and Nathan Davis.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
