John Will Ledford, 94, of Franklin, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019.

Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Charlie Ledford and Pearl Stamey Ledford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Sally Wooten, Bertie Mae Vinson, Ruby Lee Seaborn, and Rachel Virginia Gunter; and brothers, George Allen Ledford, Charlie Howard Ledford, and Jack Dean Ledford. John was a member of Coweeta Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Stamey Ledford; two sons, Mike Ledford and his wife Angela and Tim Ledford and his wife Pat; brother, Jimmy Ray Ledford; six grandchildren, Matthew Ledford and his wife Chelsea, Levi Ledford, Luke Ledford and his fiancé, Kaitlyn, Noah Ledford, Chad Ledford and his wife Amanda, Nichole Allen and her husband, Chris; and three great-grandchildren, Olivia Rowland, Axton Allen and Mia Ledford.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, January 19, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Frank Rodriguez will officiate. Burial will be in Rush Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 7339 and American Legion Post 108.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Ledford, Levi Ledford, Luke Ledford, Noah Ledford, Chad Ledford and Chris Allen.
