John James Henshaw, 78, of Franklin, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019.

Born in Newport News, VA, he was the son of the late John James Henshaw Sr. and Lora Mae Noble Henshaw. John was a US Air Force veteran. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club and an active member of Sugarfork Baptist Church and Morning Star Baptist Church in Ft. Myers, FL, where he served on the building and grounds committee. He had a very big heart and was always willing to help others.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 21 years, Gloria Jean Henshaw; two daughters, Lori McWilliam and Marilyn Lamble both of Missouri; three step-children, Keith Roszell of Fort Myers, FL, Coreen Beck of Troy, OH and Robert Milling of Liberty, NY; sister, April Daniels of Exmore, VA; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be held at 3 pm Tuesday, November 5, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Gene Hawkins will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 – 3:00 pm prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
