Obituary
John Alfred Forest, 92 of Franklin, passed away on July 12, 2021.
John was born in Rochester NY to the late Henry and Alice Forest.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, John Alfred Forest Jr. and wife Dorothy Forest.
John was a veteran of the US ARMY and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a skilled woodworker and enjoyed football and golf.
He is survived by his children, Kathleen Tucker of Franklin NC, Trudi Freimuth of Franklin NC, Linda Buso of Houston TX, John Forest of Margate FL; and Corey Bytof of San Rafael CA; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
