Obituary
John "Jack" Broad, 80, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018.
Born in Clearfield, PA, he was the son of the late Ed Broad and Carletta Livergood Broad. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Broad; sister, Joy Ann Bliss; and grandson, Josh Crowley. Jack served in the US Army and later worked in construction.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Collier Broad of Franklin; children, Kelly Grue (Sean) of Mint Hill, NC and John Broad II (Christa) of Monroe, NC; step-children, Tina Marie Sitterson (Rodney) of Franklin and Tammy Crowley (Thomas) of Murphy, NC; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
No local services are planned at this time.
