Joan Mary Marchand, 70, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Ebert and Rita Charwinsky Ebert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Marchand and brother, Richard Ebert.
She is survived by her longtime companion, James P. Gregory Sr. of Franklin; two children, Andrea Weatherby of Seminole, FL and Michael Marchand of Long Island, NY; six step-children; two grandchildren, Richie Weatherby and Brianna Baver and seven step-grandchildren.
Memorial donations can be made to the Macon County Humane Society, PO Box 81, Franklin, NC 28744.
