Joan M. Held, 85, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016.
Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Isadore Moberg and Bertha Davis Moberg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Held and eight brothers and sisters. Joan enjoyed dancing, taking Sunday drives and was an avid baseball fan; she loved the Tampa Bay Rays and Chicago Cubs. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Seminole, Florida.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Nepote and wife Holly of Safety Harbor, FL and Mark Held and wife Sherry of Franklin, NC; one brother, Ralph Moberg of Nokomis, FL; one sister, Delores Nykaza of Fox Lake, IL and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held in Florida.
