Jimmy Alfred Clark, 67, of Franklin, passed away July 4, 2010.
Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Woodrow and Launa Clark. He was a 1961 graduate of Franklin High School and worked at the Ford Motor Company in Michigan shortly after. He was a construction worker and an asphalt operator. Jim loved to travel and often made lasting friendships wherever he went. He was an avid reader and loved learning about history. He mostly enjoyed spending time with friends and family. We all are the better for having known him.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a wife, Gail Shope Clark; a daughter, Karen Wisman; one sister, Sally Seay; one brother, Rob Clark; two grandchildren, Sarah and Adam; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog "Cooper".
A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate.
