Jim Brown's Obituary
James "Jim" Robert Brown, 64, of Franklin, passed away on Sunday, December 3, at his home.
Jim was born in Atlanta, GA on September 4, 1959. He was the son of the late John Thomas and Etoyle Grier Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Stephen Brown, and John Michael Brown; and one sister, Mary Katherine Brown. Jim was the Director of Network Operations for Balsam West. He enjoyed kayaking and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Lori Brown; three daughters, DaJuana Tucek (Kevin) of Franklin, NC, Erin Brown of Franklin, NC, and Emily Birchard (Jesse) of Longmont, CO; stepson, Ian Daugherty (Kasey) of Franklin, NC; and one brother, Thomas Brown of Atlanta, GA. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Bradley Woods (Amber), Bailey Tucek, Jena Brown, and James Birchard; one great granddaughter, Natalie Woods; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Friday, December 8, at Macon Funeral Home.
