Jerrell Watson Vogler, 72, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2006.

A native of Valdosta, GA, he was the son of the late C. W. Vogler and Charlotte Farrington Vogler. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, April C. OcConnell. Mr. Vogler worked 34 years as a line worker for FLorida Power and Light; was a US Navy veteran, serving from 1952-1956 in Korea; and was a member of Cartoogechaye Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley Jean Norman Vogler; a daughter, Katrina W. Gray of New Smyrna Beach, FL; brother, Lewis Vogler of Woodbridge, VA; sister, Rosalind Hines of Delray Beach, FL; five grandchildren, David Jerrell Ganus, Daniel Joel Gray, Patti OcConnell, Lilli OcConnell, and Cara OcConnell; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Saturday, December 9, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Carson Gibson and Rev. Andy Cloer will officiate, with burial in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, December 8 at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Rick Gray, Daniel Gray, David Jerrell Ganus, Ken Smith, Daniel Jenkins, and Benny Hampton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Angel Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 815, Franklin, NC 28744 or Cartoogechaye Baptist Youth, 465 West Old Murphy Road, Franklin, NC 28734.
