Jerald "Jerry" Lynn Lovejoy, 68, of Asheville, NC formerly of Franklin, NC, passed away Friday, September 11, 2015.
Born in Stockbridge, Michigan on April 15, 1947, he was the son of the late Norman Dale Lovejoy and Eva Rose Lovejoy. Jerry was a U.S. Air Force veteran; agent for Humana Insurance and a member of New Beginnings Christian Fellowship, Leicester, NC.
He is survived by sister, Leilani Lovejoy Deaver of Otto; brother, Tim Lovejoy (Margaret) of Plant City, FL; nieces and nephews, Richard Baxley, Belinda Boles, Matt Lovejoy and Jennifer MacArthur; great nieces and nephews, Santanna Baxley, Rick Baxley, Dakota Baxter, Casey MacArthur and Cheyenne Nicole Boles and great-great nephew Davyn Baxley.
Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 19, at Rush Cemetery. Rev. Debra Jack and Rev. Rick Jack will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 19, at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be: Tim Lovejoy, Chuck March, Craig Taylor, Rick Jack, Lucus Jack.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
