Jeannie M. Burrows, 73, of Franklin, NC, passed on June 19th at Angel Hospital with her son by her side.

Originally from Miami, FL, where she sang opera in the Miami Opera Guild and also received her degree as a registered nurse; she had a long career of taking care of patients in and out of the hospital.

She is survived by her son, Shawn Curtis Burrows and his wife Theresa Joy Burrows; grandchildren, Austin Burrows, Kassidy Mixer and Nick Wilkinson; sister, Joan Marvez and husband Richard Marvez Sr.; niece, Charlotte Marvez and nephew, Richard Marvez, Jr. She will be missed by all of us!

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 p.m., Monday, July 17th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. John Makinson will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 4-5:00 prior to the service at the funeral home.
