Jeanne Anne Dorothy Sciacca, 84, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Maenza and Marion Adams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Salvatore Sciacca who died in 1992. Jeanne was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and a member of the Franklin North Congregation. Her greatest secular activities were cooking for family and friends and shopping at thrift stores.
She is survived by two daughters, Vicki Howard and husband Steve of Franklin and Elizabeth Taylor-Mead of Cambridge, MA; four grandchildren, Mark and Shawn Boden, Lily Taylor-Mead, and Dorothy Dubrule; two brothers, Fred Maenza and Richard Maenza as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Jeanne had a great love for her family and friends as well as for her heavenly father Jehovah and his promises that he will one day very shortly cure mankind of sicknesses such as cancer and bring about the original condition that God intended man to live under, that being perfect peaceful conditions on a paradise earth. Jeanne's goal in life was to share God's promises with those whom she came into contact. She was deeply respected for her zeal in boldly sharing these promises and giving people hope for their future. Jeanne held very dear the fact that one day very soon Jesus will call those that have fallen asleep in death back to earth under an earthly resurrection when there is no more sickness, sorrow, tears or death. Those beautiful promises from God's word the bible can be seen at John 5:28, 29 and Rev 21:3,4.
