Obituary
Jeanette Hunt Hurst, 71, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018.
Born in Dillon County, SC she was the daughter of the late Carvie Hunt and Nellie Powers Hunt. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Sonny Hunt, Carvie Hunt Jr, Johnny Hunt, Madge Hunt, Virgie Clark, and Mildred Turner; and grandson, Brandon Hurst. Jeanette loved working and playing with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, James Hurst, of Franklin, Bennie Hurst, of Rocky Mount, NC, and Susan Dryman, of Canton, NC; sister, Clarissa Campbell, of Marion, SC; brothers, Howard Hunt, of Latta, SC and Vernon Hunt, of Thomasville, NC; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, August 26, 2018 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves and Rev. Morris Tippett will officiate. Burial will be in the Hurst Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Macon Funeral Home.
The grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave, Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
