Obituary
Jean Burroughs Waller, 81, of Cullowhee, NC, entered into rest on Saturday, January 7, 2006.
A native of Trenton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William Clifton Burroughs and Elizabeth Harriet Jones Burroughs. She was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Burroughs who died in 1989. Jean worked as a legal secretary. She was a member of South Macon Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Harry Waller; four daughters, Jaye Patricia Mestre of Tallahassee, FL, Ellen Staley of Bullhead City, AZ, Judy Shiple of Burke, VA and Kate Fonte of Tampa, FL; one son, John Robert Hamon of Cumming, GA; twelve grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, January 9, at South Macon Baptist Church. Rev. Lewis Smith and Rev. Ronnie Owens will officiate. Burial will be in the Booth Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11-12 Monday, prior to the service at South Macon Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to one's church benevolent fund.
