Opal "Jean" Nelson Tabor, 85, of Bryson City, NC passed away Friday, August 2, 2019.
Born in Kingsport, TN she was the daughter of the late Ernest Nelson and Daisy White Nelson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Tabor. Jean enjoyed nature and birdwatching.
She is survived by her children, Tom Tabor, David Tabor, and Mary Queen; two sisters, Georgia Fugarino and Gladys Dodson, both of Kingsport, TN; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Sunday, August 4 at Macon Funeral Home.
