Jean Fouts Hunnicutt, 84, of Brevard, NC, formerly of Franklin, NC, entered into rest on Thursday, December 8, 2005.

A native of Macon County, NC, she was the daughter of the late David Clingman Fouts and Evelyn "Effie" Kimsey Fouts. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Hunnicutt; and two brothers, Harold and J.L. Fouts.

She is survived by three sons, Ron Hunnicutt of Atlanta, GA, David Larry Hunnicutt of St. Roberts, Missouri and Roger Hunnicutt of Brevard, NC; one sister, Pauline Fouts Cable of Franklin, NC; three grandchildren, Lisa Hunnicutt of Atlanta, GA, Keith Hunnicutt of Missouri and Charles Hunnicutt of Franklin, NC; sisters-in-law, Lillian Hunnicutt and Martha Hunnicutt both of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 12, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Wells Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Monday, at Macon Funeral Home.
