Jean E. Clarke, 84, of Cambridge, OH, formerly of Otto, NC, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012. She was born in Zanesville, OH and the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Getts. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 22 years, James W. Clarke and her grandson, Sean R. Marks.
Jean is survived by two sons, Robert Marks of Sylva, NC and Ross Marks of Glenville, NC; and daughter, KimBerly Jean Clarke and fiancé, David Mosley, Sr. of Cambridge, OH (formerly of Otto, NC). In addition, she is survived by two grandsons, Justin Marks of Seminole, FL; Joshua Marks of Sylva, NC, and one granddaughter, Christa Marks of AL and five great-grandchildren. Jean also is survived by her "five adoptive" daughters, Pamela Smith, Sherry Smith Wilcox and Jennifer Smith Wolfe all of Seminole, FL; Jean Scott of Sylva, NC and Beverly Anderson of Scaly Mtn., NC; also "adoptive son", Dennis Bally.
Funeral services were held Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, 2012 at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg, FL, officiated by her grandson, Justin Marks. Pallbearers were Joshua Marks, Justin Marks, Tim Smith and Rick Wolfe. As laid to rest next to the love of her life, James W. Clarke, their song, "Together Again" played and now as the title says; indeed they are "Together Again".
