Jannella "Ann" Thornton Rosa, 77, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013.
Born in Jacksonville, FL, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Wesley Thornton and Burnice Vaughn Thornton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, William Scott Rosa, II. and Cory Curtis Rosa and two grandchildren, Sasha Cantrell and Anthony Rosa. Ann enjoyed traveling and reading. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, William Scott Rosa, Sr.; five children, Saranne Cantrell of Missouri, Donna Vann of Florida, Keaitha Neal of Florida, Stephanie Rosa Carver and husband Ben of Asheville and Keith Sanders of Kentucky; brother, Vaughn Thornton of Jacksonville, FL; fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 25th in Woodlawn Cemetery. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate.
