Obituary
Janet Lathrop, 89, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at her home on Olive Hill Road, where she lived for the last 37 years.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Reginald Marsh and Agnes Locke Marsh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Fuller Lathrop who died February 17, 2004; a sister, Ann Adams and a grandson, Kerby Lathrop.
She is survived by three children, John Lathrop and wife Lois of Franklin, James Lathrop and wife Sara of Mystic, CT and Judy Cashman and husband Jim of Port St. Lucie, FL; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 20, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate.
Memorial donations may be made to Angel Hospice, 170 Church Street, Franklin, NC 28734 or Spiritual Light Center, 80 Heritage Hollow Drive, Franklin, NC 28734.
